WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SEEING A SHOW AT ACT OF CT THIS FALL

Please note: ACT of CT is abiding by all local and state travel advisories and cannot sell in-person tickets to any patron who has spent more than 24 hours over the past 14 days in any of the states on the Connecticut Travel Advisory list.

In accordance with the current state and local re-opening guidelines, we are excited to invite our patrons back to ACT of CT! We take the safety of our staff and patrons very seriously and therefore have developed the following policies and procedures:

  • Patrons and staff must wear a face mask covering both the nose and mouth at all times while at ACT of CT. If you do not have a face mask, we will be happy to provide you with one.

  • Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the building. Gloves, face shields, alcohol wipes, and other PPE supplies are available upon request.

  • All patrons and staff within the ACT of CT building should practice social distancing when reasonable.

  • Extensive cleaning and sanitization procedures have been instituted before, between, and following all performances.

  • In-theatre seating has been designed to provide for social distancing between groups, therefore seating may not be available in all rows and capacity will be limited. All patrons will receive an assigned seat.

Due to the limited capacity and need for specialization of seating, in-person ticket purchases for The Last Five Years           will be handled directly by a member of our patron services team, either via email (boxoffice@actofct.org) and/or                 phone (475.215.5497).

  • Prior to admission, all patrons will be asked to complete and submit an online Patron Health Screening survey and consent to a temperature screening at the theatre.

  • Pre-show concessions may be ordered up to one hour prior to each performance. Refreshments may be enjoyed either in our socially-distanced, heated outdoor tent or in the comfort of your own car.

  • Admission to the theater will be staggered, and will commence approximately half an hour before each performance.

  • The Last Five Years will be performed without an intermission and will run approximately 90 minutes in length. Restrooms will be open 30 minutes prior to each performance, using best social-distancing practices.

In order to provide the safest environment for all, and to help to slow the spread of COVID-19, these policies and procedures may shift and change from time to time based on guidance from our state and local officials, collaborating unions, and prevailing Health and Safety recommendations. Individuals may be denied entry should they refuse to abide by any and all protocols.

Please note: ACT of CT is facilitating regular COVID-19 testing of all performers, crew, and staff.
