ACT of Connecticut celebrated its grand opening of its $1.8M-renovated theater and inaugural production season with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, June 7, 2018 with First Selectman Rudy Marconi. Almost two years later, theater professionals, Katie Diamond and Daniel C. Levine 's vision is realized. The once abandoned Schlumberger auditorium, now transformed into a beautiful and professional theatre offers self-produced, limited engagement runs, using Broadway and professional talent. ACT of Connecticut launched their first show in the company's new home on June 7, 2018 to sold out audiences and even extended its run of MAMMA MIA!. "We are so thrilled to be able to offer our community the chance to be a part of the creation of these new musicals and plays,” said Daniel C. Levine, artistic director, ACT of CT."
