ACT Summer Conservatory
Teen Mainstage Intensive: Extended Intermission Edition
August 3 - 22, 2020
We are working to reveal an exciting and unique new concept and framework for our Teen Mainstage Intensive production of Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat this August, which will respect and adhere to state guidelines. For those who have already auditioned and enrolled, you will be contacted soon with more details! We also have a limited number of remaining slots; please email firstname.lastname@example.org for information about auditions and registration. We are VERY excited about this innovative idea for our Summer Conservatory Program!!
The ACT Conservatory Teen Mainstage Summer Intensive Virtual Intermission Edition production for 2020 will be Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. ACT’s Artistic Director, Daniel C. Levine will be reimagining this classic Broadway standard (just as he has done for ACT’s Mainstage productions of Working and Godspell), to present a new conceptual version of the show. For those students who may have performed in ACT’s production of Joseph….Dreamcoat at the Ridgefield Playhouse in 2018, this is a chance to perform as part of the core cast on ACT’s professional stage, incorporating full lighting, sound and technical elements.
As part of this summer conservatory workshop, cast members will be directed by ACT of CT’s Artistic Advisor, Daniel C. Levine and input and notes to the cast will be given by ACT of CT Music Supervisor (and Music Director of Broadway’s Jagged Little Pill) Bryan Perri.
