Founded in 2018, and now in its seventh season, A.C.T. of CT produces and presents Broadway caliber productions.

    A.C.T. of CT (A Contemporary Theatre of Connecticut) is most known for its award-winning musicals, world-premiere productions, Broadway Unplugged concert series, and extensive theater education programs.

    The cast album of A.C.T. of CT's Snapshots is nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album of the Year.

    Currently led by Daniel C. Levine (Artistic Director) and R. Erin Craig (Producing Director), A.C.T. of CT was co-founded in 2018 by Levine, Katie Diamond, and Bryan Perri.

    A.C.T. of CT strongly believes that theater fosters empathy and inspires creative thinking while providing a safe space in which all can listen and learn from one another. Take a look at our audience access initiative, artist scholarships and apprenticeships, and sensory friendly performances.

  • Posthumous Prodigy Fellowship

    Given in homage to the late Bryan Gallace of Southport, the Posthumous Prodigy Fellowship grants a one-time annual award of $30,000 to a selected musician. This transformative financial support is to be used for the creation or exploitation of new musical works (in any genre of music), as well as for professional growth.
