A.C.T. of CT PRESENTSSummer Stars Showcase
July 20 - August 1, 2026
Incoming Grades 2-7
The Summer Stars Showcase brings together students entering 2nd through 7th grades for a two-week musical theatre experience culminating in a fully staged production on the A.C.T. of CT mainstage.
This session is not audition-based for entry — all registered participants are welcomed into the cast. Auditions for specific roles, however, will take place during the first days of the program so that casting can be thoughtfully determined once rehearsals begin.
Throughout the two weeks, students will build foundational musical theatre skills, including beginning vocal technique, choreography, and improvisation. Daily rehearsals are enriched with theatre games, creative workshops, and occasional special guests, all designed to foster confidence, collaboration, and stage presence in a supportive and engaging environment.
Please review all program dates carefully prior to registration. Performers are expected to attend all rehearsals and the final performance, as consistent attendance is essential to the success of the entire cast.
We look forward to watching these young performers grow and shine on stage!
