What our students and families have to say

We were so impressed with the shows and all that was accomplished in such a short 2 weeks! We are thrilled to have such a rich theatre experience available for our daughter. I’m really blown away by ACT of CT and have nothing but positive words for their summer programs! We loved the last 2 summers at ACT (of CT) and will be back!”

All I can say is that my daughter LOVED it!! She had the best two weeks there! Lots of theatre, singing and dancing (as expected) and she also really appreciated to break time outside with some of the fun stuff you guys provided for the kids. As a parent, the final outcome was amazing! Literally every kid on the stage had a smile on their face and you can tell they were having fun. Thank you to the entire ACT of CT Education Team. I’m sure my daughter will be back next summer :)”

On my daughter’s first day of camp, she was nervous. I told her in the car that theatre is a safe space and that all would be well. When we got there, and she saw all these faces she didn’t really know, she didn’t want me to leave. When I took her into the theatre, we were greeted by one of your interns. I told her that my daughter was nervous and her response was “you’re in the theatre! It’s a safe space here!” I knew she was in good hands. She absolutely loved the program, as well as everyone who was involved. To see the progress she made in just two short weeks was astounding. I was so impressed by the way you all ran the program, and by the production you ended up putting on. It was a fantastic show, and the kids looked like they were both having a great time, and doing a professional job. We are so grateful to have ACT of CT in our community - not just for the incredible theatre we get to see every year, but for the amazing opportunities for our children. We are very excited to continue being a part of this amazing community!”

I was absolutely blown away by the performance Friday night. What these kids accomplished in just 10 short days was truly amazing!! The past few weeks at ACT (of CT) were an incredible experience for my daughter. Not only did she learn a lot, she thoroughly enjoyed her time working with your wonderful staff and the other students. Needless to say she is hooked and would like to participate in other ACT educational programs going forward.”

My daughter loved the summer program! Thanks so much to all of you for a fabulous two weeks. She grew in confidence and it was amazing to see what they could pull off after just two weeks. We loved the show and the feeling of a packed house was such fun for the kids.”
— Alison O.
Days were structured to include learning opportunities along with rehearsal providing and enriching experience and fun. My daughter loved it so much she couldn’t wait to get to ACT of CT every day. Perfect mix of show rehearsal and preparation, guest speakers, improv classes, dance, and fun! The final show was absolutely amazing!”
